Kim Jung Gi style Hot dog

Art

I was watching tutorial videos on how to draw better manga on Whyt Manga’s channel when auto play started a video by Proko on Kim Jung Gi. I really liked his style. I tried to emulate it in this sketch, but I can’t do it justice. I used a Fabre Caster brush pen, however it doesn’t give the same kind of brush stroke. Maybe a different brand might work better. I think after I finish the two artbooks I’m studying now, I’ll buy one of his books.

Writing

I sat in my chair for a couple of hours and all I wrote was half a page. I think I’m at the penultimate fight scene before the boss fight. I don’t use an outline, I follow Stephen King’s method. I just let the story unfold naturally. King likened it to driving a car at night with the headlights on. I feel like my headlights are flickering on and off today, but mostly off.

Korean

I’ve been keeping up with my Korean study. I’m on a 7-day streak. I’ve learned how to say I’m from so-and-so country or I’m x nationality. I want to watch some anime in Korean, but I ditched Netflix because of the price hikes. I hoped Solo Leveling would have a Korean audio option on Crunchyroll, but no such luck. They don’t seem to offer many anime in Korean. I guess I should try K-dramas. Do you have any viewing suggestions?

I like the image and I like hot dogs. I unfortunately, do not know much about Korean anime.
